Jane LOREE and Amos ROGERS marriage

I'm looking for a connection between my brick wall ROGERS ancestor, Jacob Rogers b. 1808 in Bound Brook NJ, and the LOREE family. I have found a Jane Loree marrying Amos Rogers in Morristown, Morris Co. in 1808. I am trying to find out if they may have been the parents of Jacob. At this point this is little more than a hunch, based on proximity and on connections between some other families in Morris Co. NJ and Clermont Co. OH.

Some time around 1815, some Loree family members moved to Clermont Co., OH, where Elenore Ann Loree m. (Johann) Jacob Hill. This same Jacob Hill (and his daughters Minerva and Amanda) sent Moses William Rogers, one son of my brick wall Jacob Rogers, letters addressing him as "cousin" and "nephew". While "cousin" is pretty much a generic term, "uncle" is much less likely to be used so broadly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
