About what years did these people live?
I doubt I have much help to offer, but "Yelverton" is such an uncommon name.
I am decended from Capt Robert Lord and Capt. Richard Lord who arrived in Boston, Mass. in 1634 and 1635 and were first citizens of Hartford, Conn. shortly thereafter.
Researching that line, I believe I recall a marriage into the Lord family of a woman decended from "Yelvertson Crowell" of early Mass. The book was in the NJ state library but I didn't make a note of it as the info was not in my line.hope this does more to help than confuse your research.it may be nothing, but again, how many Yelvertons do you read about?I guess it is as important to know who does not belong as it is to know who does.
