James - I have seen what appears to be your results on the Sorenson Data Base. I cannot find any other link the other Lord's except a Thomas Lord on Wilkenson County, Georgia born in Maryland in 1786. It makes some sense he would be on the same line as the Washington County, Georgia Lord's. I am related to the Lord's through Solomon Lord born ca 1775 in Maryland. He had a son Levin Lord who I am directly related to. Levin and Leander Lord were brothers.

As mentioned I cannot find any genetic link to other Lords elsewhere particularly in New England where the DNA results have been posted. There does seem to be a link to a Hill family but not sure how. I believe the Jackson County, Georgia Lord family DNA is on and the Washington County LOrd's are definitely not related.

James are you quite sure you are related to Leander Lord of Washington County? I am wondering why the Hill family keeps croping up as a near match. Coucld there have been an adoptionof some kind or can you rule it out.
