The Thomas who moved to Conecuh Co is my ggg grandfather. He later moved to Desoto Parish Louisiana with at least three of his daughters and two sons. I have never seen any marriage records, but have seen on other family trees and message boards that his wife was Renchy. I do know that one of Thomas' grand-daughters was named Arminta which seems like a shortened version of Arimenthia to me. This was my father's aunt.

Thomas' grave is unmarked but church records state that he and "his wife and several children" (no names) are buried there. Only one of his children have a headstone and that is Stephen D. Lord whose marker was provided by the gov. as a Confederate Veteran.

He is listed on the founding documents of the church (Grove Hill Baptist) as Thomas not Thyas. Please let me know if you find out more.
