Searching for John Abel Lord of Bath, Maine and family
I am looking for any addition information I can find on John Abel Lord and his family. What I know:
John Abel Lord, born November 10, 1872 in Parker Head, Maine (just south of Bath); direct descendant of Nathan Lord who settled in Maine in 1937 and also related to Adam Lemont of East Brunswick, Maine (founder of Lemont's Shipyard in Bath). Among his accomplishments was the design of the US training brig BOXER and the rebuilding of the USS Constitution (Old Ironsides). He died in Bath, Maine on September 10, 1945.
Father was Samuel Collar Lord, born around 1849
Mother was Anabelle M. Blaisdell (possibly went by the name Belle B. Lord in the Maine 1880 Census), born ca. 1855
Known brothers and sisters (at least if I am correct about the 1880 Census, which I should be):
Milan G. Lord (possibly went by M.G. Lord), born ca. 1871
Benjamin Lord, born ca. 1875
Grace B. Lord, born ca. 1878
George S. Lord, father of Parker Milan Lord
John Abel Lord was married to Mary Lee Curtis (born ca. 1880) on October 16-17, 1900
Known children:
John Abel Lord Jr., born ca. 1902 (whom I am the great-grandson of)
Frances L. Lord, born ca. 1903
Arabelle M. Lord, born ca. 1907
Harriet Curtis Lord
I would like to know more, but at the very least I'd like to learn of any missing siblings of John Abel Lord, or his son John Abel Lord, Jr. as well as full names for those I have.
Note: I have already found some relation to data from Martha-Jane Beales and Tracy Petrulavage.
