Nathan, I've come across some more info about Sarah Bradley Lorance (1831) married to John L Lorance (1828). As you know, John L is buried in Cooke County, TX at Mt Carmel Cemetary, I found a Sarah Lorance buried in Cooks Cemetary, Rutherford TN, no dates of birth or death are mentioned. The headstone on John L mentions Sarah as his wife but she is not buried there. I think Sarah died in Tennesse after the 1880 census and John L moved to Texas after her death. Are there any burial records archived anywhere for this cemetary? Also, I've found out the 1880 indexed census I found has mistakes (go figure - I can't read a lot of the writing myself!) at any rate, it lists "William" as son born in 1875, however, that is the youngest daughter Willie Mae born June 7 1875 (hence Willie M got transposed to Willem!) The eldest son William G was orn in 1849 and died in March 1875, he died three months before his baby sister was born and was dead at the time of the 1880 census. Just an FYI for you in case we ever get the two families connected! Please let me know if you know anything about the cemetary or how I could find out if there are any archived records - I couldn't find anything online. Thank you so much for your valuable help!
