I am just grasping at straws, but thought I would give this a whirl. My GGG Grandfather was George W. LOPP who married a Mary E. ENNIS on 14 April 1870 in Soughty?? Fountain County, IN.

His wife, Mary ENNIS LOPP ended up in Danville, Vermilion Co., IL and married a William H. MANQUIS in 1896. I have no idea whether George W. LOPP died or they divorced.

They had my GG Grandmother Mary Louisa LOPP on January 13,1872 in Portland, IN. It's said she may have had siblings, but I have no proof.

It was also rumored that George W. LOPP fought in the Civil War and came home with a Peg Leg.

That is all the info I have. Does any of this sound familiar?

Thank you.

Lisa
