Michele, I don't know if this helps, but my father had a baby brother who he was told they named Rodolfo who was born on August 14, 1934 here in NYC. Their mother, Lena, died from an infection from a c-section when Rodolfo was born. Her date of death is 8-25-34 (11 days after the birth). It is my dad's understanding that the baby was raised by an uncle Rodolfo (for whom he was named after). My paternal grandfather, Herbert Lopez, left my father with his babysitter and the family raised him through young-adulthood. I don't know if any of this helps you but I find it a strange coincidence that the name is the same and that they were said to have been raised by another family member. I have no other information other than what is on my grandmother's death certificate. I have no birth certificate/information for Rodolfo. If he is in fact related, they had 2 older brothers/1 older sister from Lena's first marriage. The last time I found any relatives, they didn't know of my dad or any other children that Lena had.
