I'm searching for information about William Loomis, born in about 1798 in Otsego Co, NY. He was the son of Col. Daniel Loomis and his wife, Mary Hustin Loomis. The family lived near Plainfield. In addition to William there were two other sons, Daniel and Henry. Col. Daniel Loomis died in 1833. Mary Loomis died in 1834. Both are buried at Unadilla Forks. Sons Daniel and Henry remained in New York. William, wife, Maria ?, and daughter, Mary, were reported to have moved to Walworth, WI, in about 1840. I can't locate them in WI and wonder if they may have gone to another western state. If you have any information concerning this family, please contact me. Thank you so much.
