I am looking for information on a Joseph LONSDALE who married an Elizabeth Ann TEASDALE on Feb.23rd.1884 in Crook, DUR. According to the 1901 census, it says he was born at Beldon, NBL, which I believe was only a hamlet on the Northumberland side of the Northumberland/Durham border. I wondered if he was from the Stanhope area and that his father William was working at local lead mines around Beldon. It was situated between Allenhead and Blanchland. Does anybody recognise any of these names from the 1901 census:- 1901 Census RG13 Piece 4653, Folio 167, Page 33 Fifty Houses, Mount Pleasant, Crook Joseph Lonsdale/H/M/46 years/Coal Miner Shifter/b Beldon?
