Thank you for your information confirming my own idea that Kenneth Mancoe Longshore had died around 1910 though absolutely no information was found about his passing. His second wife, Joda Wakefield Longshore, was indeed listed as being a widow. What was "throwing me off track" was that my mother-in-law, Bernice Longshore King (daughter from the second marriage) had supposedly said that her father had returned at one time and wanted to see her but she refused. The impression I had was that this occured when Bernice was an adult. Obviously this is untrue as she was only seven years old in 1910.
My brilliant discovery:In looking up Kenneth's son Eunice Liston Longshore, on ancestry.com his father Kenneth Mancoe Longshore is listed as living between 1875-1910!No death date is listed for his mother Marietta Brock.Anyway, mystery is solved regarding death date for Kenneth Mancoe. Now I just have to find the location. If you run across any clues, I'd appreciate knowing what you find.
Thank you again!
