You asked:
Have I got it right?:
Name:Joseph Raphael Longpre dit Lampron,
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Birth:2 May 1870Cleveland, Ohio
Father:Joseph Longpre dit Lampron,
Mother:? Lord
Marriage:3 Jun 1901
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Spouse:Claire Larocque
Birth:1883
Father:Xavier Larocque
Mother:Marie Trottier
Children
The mother of Raphael is Marie Ranger. It appears as though she died in 1896.Following her death, we find Joseph and his children in Hawkesbury.Brother of Raphael is Augustin b. 1878 in Ohio.He married a woman in Hawkesbury in 1898Sister of Raphael is Clemence. She married Clara's brother Hyacinthe Larocque in 1900.
From what I can find out, it appears that Joseph is the son of Jerome Longpré (dit Allard) b. 1826.Joseph's brother Francois Xavier is found in Illinois by 1861.Joseph's brother Louis is found in Nebraska by 1880.For whatever reason, the family scattered to the States. My guess is that it may have had something to do with a) the Papineau Rebellion, or b) the fur trade.
No information is found regarding Marie Ranger other than that she existed and died.Women coming out of nowhere are typically aboriginal women.I hope this helps.
