I think I have tracked down the baptism of my Great-Great-Great-Grandfather, Thomas Longman, who died in 1845 as a result of a cart accident on Publow Hill close to Cameley where he was living. It appears that he was the bb son of Elizabeth Longman of Bratton Seymour, and was baptised in 1805. She in turn seems to have been baptised in 1781, the daughter of Thomas and Martha, nee Hipditch. I'd be interested in any other connections to the Bratton Seymour family.
