From my notes on Jane Amey b. 1760 Cranborne, Dorset:
There is an extracted IGI record of a Jane Ammey marrying Thomas Edwards 8 Nov 1784 in Cranborne, Dorset.
This creates a problem because there is also an extracted marriage for Jane Ammey to Joseph Longman dated 6 Jun 1874 at Cranborne, Dorset, England. Extractions were taken directly from the parish records, therefore; I believe this to be the correct marriage for the Jane Ammey associated with the Longman family.
There are two Jane Amey's married to two different men in Cranborne, Dorset in 1784. Each appears to have Robert Amey and Sarah Randal as the parents. This is a mystery at this point. With only 5 months between each marriage, it seems that there are two women with the same name born at the same time in Cranborne.
This needs to be researched further. Actual parish registers have to be searched. I have not been successful in doing so yet.
As for Moses Longman & Susanna Amey. I do not know about their children.
