My father is Richard Longino, and his grandfather was Bolse Longino (B.L.) When his grandmother Rosa Longino died my fathers dad Boyd Longino whom was there son, collected photos from the house. The old house is still standing in the community of Hickory Grove near Coushatta, LA. My parents still live on the land that was purchased by B.L. Longino. If I'm not mistaking his father William (Bill) Longino and his brother farmed the land years ago. They are both buried in the Hickory Grove Cementary. They shot each other in a duel over a slave. There use to be a tree that marked there graves. But the tree is no longer there. So they are unmarked graves. There are alot of Longino's buried in that cementary. They land was donated to the church by the Longino family. If I am not mistaking my father has pictures of Bolse Longino. I think they are on tin. We also have a picture of his second wife, Annie who was very young and died during child birth. They he married Rosa Debruel. Who was my great grandmother. I think there is also a picture of Charles Hardy Longino.
It's been a long time since I have looked at them. I did alot of research on the Longino's and have a little information.
