I am looking for info on Horatio Longfellow of Cornville in the last 1890 and early 1900. My grandmother was Irene Hutchinson of Hallowell. We were told that she was adoptedby Elizabeth Whittemore and Herbert Hutchinson and lived all of her life in Hallowell. I found a small Xmas book that she gave to him (Horatio) in 1906 for a Xmas gift. It is handwritten by him saying it was from his granddaughter.My grandmother was born in 1896 and died in 1975. We were told that she was born in Boston, but cannot find anything there. Her oldest children's birth certificates say that mother's birth place was in Skowhegan and Cornville. It list her name as Grace or Gina. It was very hard to read. Any info would be very much appreciated. I have been coming to a rock wall for about two years.
