I do not have specific information on Catherine Longacre/Longenecker. However, her name and ancestors are included with my genealogical records.
Catherine's parents were Peter Acker Longacre/Longenecker, b. 2/9/1770 in Mingo Station, Montgomery Co., PA; d. in Holmes Co., Ohio. Peter was married to Elizabeth Nofzinger, b. 1768 in Chester Co., PA; d. in Holmes Co., Ohio.
Catherine was the last youngest child in a family of nine children to Peter and Elizabeth. Her siblings were Mary Magdalene, b. 1795; David, b. 1797; John, b. 1799; Levi, b. 1800; Peter, b. 1802; Elizabeth, b. 1804; Susan, b. 1806; Joseph, b. 1808; and (Catherine, b. 1810.)
Peter's parents were David Clotz Longacre/Longenecker, b. 1704, d. 1776 in Mingo Twp., Chester Co., PA; married Barbara Acker in 1748, Barbara was b. 1728 in Montgomery Co., PA; d. 7/4/1808.
David's parents were Rev. Daniel Janni Longenecker, b. 2/7/1685 on the Moosaker farm, Biglen, Switzerland; d. 9/30/1756 in Providence Twp., Philadelphia Co., PA and is buried in the Sproogel Burying Grounds, Pottsville, PA. He married Elizabeth Clotz in 1703 in Switzerland. Eliz. was born Abt. 1688 in the Palatinate or Switzerland; d. Aft. 1776 in Providence Twp., Philadelphia Co., and is also buried in the Sproogel Burying Grounds.
Rev. Daniel's parents: Hans Schnyder Langanegger, b. 6/20/1652 in Langnau, Switzerland; d. Aft. 1691 in Langnau. Hans married Anna Janni 10/101673 in Langnau, Switzerland. Anna, b. 4/4/1647 in Langnau Switzerland; d. in Langnau.
Hans' parents: Christian Aeschbacher, b. 1626 in Langnau, Switzerland and married Anna Schnyder, b. and d. in Langnau Switzerland.
Christian's parents: Ulrich Neuenschwander Langanegger, b. 7/15/1593 in "Fansruti," Langnau, Switzerland, and died in Langnau, as well. He married Barbli Aeshbacher who d. in 1628 in Langnau.
Ulrich's parents: Michel Langanegger, b. 1565 in "Ey", Langnau, Switzerland and died in Langnau, as well. He married Barbli Neuenschwander in 1620 in Langnau; she died in 1628.
Michel's parents were Peter Loinacre, b. 1529 and married Barbara Kammermann, b. 1533 in Langnau.
