Thanks for the information regarding the two Ulrich Longeneckers. William Scott's father's name was Abraham,(married Catherine Welker), his father's name was Samuel (married Catherine Lehman, who died at 40 leaving him with three daughters and two sons. Samuel's father was Peter Longenecker Jr. who married Mary Catherine Beam. She was widowed in 1806 leaving her with four sons. Peter Jr's father was also a Peter Longenecker married to Catherine (maiden name unknown), Peter Sr also died in 1806 only days apart from his son. Many of them are buried in the old Longenecker Cemetery in Rapho Township near Prospect and Hernley Road. Peter Sr was the son of Christian Longenecker and Anna Barbara Longenecker who arrived in 1729 and is presumably the son of Ulrich Sr. who arrived later in 1733. And yes, I am Reba's daughter. Is your husband's father named William or W. Scott.
