Am I correct that your Leshers lived in the Manheim PA area?

I believe we talked on the telephone several years ago. I will share what info I have at this time; however, it doesn't help your situation very much.

There were four brothers and the father Ulrich, Sr. who lived in the Rapho Twp. area. So that your ancestor Maria could have been born c. 1765, that would mean her father, John/Hannes/Hans would have been born c. 1730s - 1740s. This Hannes most likely would be the son of Hans (1703-1767), Christian (1706-1759), Ulrich, Jr. (1711-1793), or possibly Jacob.

Hans (1703) and Elizabeth had a son Hannes born 1732. However, my records show that he married an Anna Huber. (That could be an incorrect spouse's name.) I don't have record of any names of children.'

Hans (1703) and Elizabeth's oldest son was Jacob (1723-1799). I have recorded a Catherine Lesher as his spouse (1723-1786). They moved with his cousin, Abraham Longenecker (son of Ulrich, Jr.) to the Bachmanville, Dauphin Co., area of PA and they are buried in the Stauffer Mennonite Cemetery in Bachmanville.

Christian (1706) and Anna Barbary also had a John, born 1740 or 1741. However, the spouse I have listed for him is Barbara Rohrer. Their children: Mary, Barbara, John (1775), Christian (1784), Elizabeth, Ann, Magdalena.

Ulrich, Jr. had a John, as well (1736) I have recorded Elizabeth Baer as his spouse and so the info you have stating he died in East Petersburg PA in the 1730s is most likely incorrect.)

I don't have any info on the fourth brother, Jacob (1714-1795) I have that he married Mary (Unknown). I do not have any children listed for them.Possibly they would have had a son, Hannes. They supposedly lived in Warwick Twp., Lancaster Co. PA

The David Longenecker who settled in Strasburg PA was probably not of their family. I believe Dick Cryer has attached this family to the Ulrich of Coventry Twp., PA,
