Although a longshot...has anyone found any records of a BURRELL Longbottoms, Bottoms, Bottom in your records of the Longbottoms of NC. Burrell was last known in Bladen County, NC, dates of his residence are from 1795-1800 from Land records in Bladen County.
He apparently died in 1800, as his wife is listed as head of household with 4 children (2 Males, 2 females. Sarah Bottoms (Burrell's wife) is next found in 1808 in Kershaw, South Carolina. In the 1810 census of Kershaw/Camden she is listed with 5 children - a daughter at age 10...she must have been pregnant with this last daughter when Burrell died in 1800. I have followed all of the 5 children through time, and up to the 1900's. I have original documents, court, land, and marriage for everyone but Burrell and Sarah Bottoms (Bottums, Bothums, Longbottoms etc etc). Just checking if anyone has seen anything that I might be ablt to chase down....
THANKS Jewel Wellborn
