Bev,

This could be either Samuel, Sr. or Samuel, Jr. Samuel Longbottom, Sr. appears to have only one son, Samuel, Jr. Samuel, Jr. had two children Alleven, Micajah. Samuel, Jr. died between February 3, 1795 and May 1796 in Nash County. The children appear to be living with Samuel, Sr. in 1800. Samuel, Sr. died prior to 1805 which is when his wife died. Although records indicate that Samuel, Jr.'s wife remained in Nash County, the children have disappeared. Whether they died before adulthood is not known.
