Jeremiah H Long and Mary A. Sheets Long

I am looking for information on my Great Great Grandfather Jeremiah H. Long. He was born about 1836 probably in Kentucky and died May 1905 in Frankfort Kentucky. He married Mary A. Sheets (1839-1928) also from Franklin County Kentucky. Their children were William H.,Nedra, Martha, Helen and Charles E. all born in Franklin County Kentucky. I'm trying to find out his parents. There is a good possibility his father was also Jeremiah but I can find no records.

I would appreciate any information.
