I'm searching for parentage of Leah Long from Person Co., NC
Born 1861, died 10/10/1950. Buried at Wheeler's Primitive Baptist church cemetery.
One source shows her mother as Martha Long with unknown spouse...this is Ambrose Long/Carolina Co., VA line. With Ambrose to James to Jacob to Martha.
a family member has said they thought Leah was adopted by a long family when her parents died...which makes me wonder if she was actually one of another of Jacob's child's child.
Leah is also shown one place as having a sister, Alice, b. 1863.
Any info appreciated.
