Mildred died 25 Apr 1870 in Guthrie County Iowa. She's buried in the West Cass Township Cemetery there. The inscription says "wife of Edward" and lists her age as 85y 3m 19d. Her youngest son, Daniel P. Long was in Guthrie County at the time which explains why she was there. She is also in the 1860 Harrison Co IN census in the Jonathan Horney household with her granddaughter, Amelia Bonames.
