Looking for the parents of or any other information about George. According to the census, he was born in Maryland. Family tradition says that he was born as George Chapman and changed his name to Loney during or after the civil war. His brother did the same. After the war he came to Texas and married Emma Carlson a girl born in Sweden. They had 10 children Will, Jeanette or Nettie, John, Olive, Alex, Charles Washington, Ester, Frances (Fanny),Oscar Virgil and Shirley. Does anyone know anything about this family?
