My great-grandfather and his first wife, Robert George Loney (1877-1949)and Elizabeth Jane Guy (1881-1934, originally lived in Portadown, Northern Ireland, and the family (which included 12 children) migrated to Toronto, Canada via New York.
Some dificulties in my research involve the fact that Elizabeth was an orphan, Robert divorced and remarried (to whom I don't know) and the 12 children came to Canada in waves with the eldest children later sending for the youngest (William, Lil, George, Emily, Anne, Jim, Albert, Herbert, Rachel, Dorothy, Pearl).
I would love to find descendants of George Jr. who stayed behind in Portadown.
