My grandfather was William LONEY born September 14 1906 in Belfast. He came to Surrey, England approx. 1925, where he married Alice HUSE in 1933, and lived in this area until he died in 1983. His parents were William James LONEY born 20 July 1867 or 1868, died 7 September 1948, and mother was Margaret Elizabeth CARVILL born 8 May 1875, died 26 February 1961. William and Margaret were married 21 August 1899 in St Anns Cathedral Belfast. Apart from my grandfather the other children of the family were:
James Carvill Loney 1901
Edith Carvill Loney 1903
Elizabeth Carvill Loney 1908
Hazel May Brady Loney 1910
Margaretta Eileen Loney 1912
Muriel Victoria Loney 1914
Lawrence Edmund Loney 1916
Addresses given are Kendal Street, Bristol Street, Railway Street, Forsythe Street, Tyne Street and Crimea Street
The above information was kindly sent to me by Muriel's daughter. I would love to trace this line back further so if there is anyone in Ireland or elsewhere who can advise me where I go from here please email me. Also I would equally love to hear from any of the decendents of the above.
