I am searching for my Aunt Mary Melody born January 1922 at Marylebone, London. Her parents were John Melody and Margaret Smith. Mary also had a brother Anthony who is accounted for. Mary's parents separated sometime later possibly between 1923-1926. Was Mary adopted by another family or did her mother Margaret marry again, resulting in Mary having a different surname. There may have been a connection with the Leeds/Manchester area, but cannot be sure. Any help most welcome on this urgent matter.
