Thamks for responding and I am sorry for taking so long in reply. We could be long lost cousins. My grandparents and 2 uncles came from Gasperina in the province of Catanzaro, Calabria Italy and most settled in Pa. I visited Gasperina on 3 occasions and there are a lot of Lombardo's still there. Calabria is a beautiful place especially in summer. When I first went in 1970 it was like stepping back in time, I don't think the place changed in a hundred years. Today, however, it has become more urbanized, or so I am told. Calabria is a tourist resort for Europeans on vacation. Thanks for answering, The only other detail I can supply is that I have relatives still there named Vono, Fulginiti, Martello, Fierentino and Sinopoli. Any of these ring a bell?
