I am searching for William Elliott Axum, born, I believe, in North Carolina. He was the father of Ada Alice Axum, my paternal grandmother, who married John Albert Lombard, my grandfather June 14, 1899 in Indianapolis. William Elliott Axum was married to Phoebe Esther Strother. I believe his father was named Solomon, however I'm not sure about that.
I would be grateful for any information at all.
