Jayne- I have Thankful as the daughter of George Lewis Jr and Mary Lombard. Check this link:

It shows your Thankful born 9/17/1683, married to Samuel Look 10/19/1704.
Mary Lombard-Lewis was the daughter of Bernard Lombard who was born 1608 in Thornecombe, Dorset in England and came to Mass on the Mary&John in 1630. Not sure who her mother was, some sites show a Dorothy Richards, others a Mary Clarke, and still others a Joyce Lambert. It seems clear Bernard was married more than once, and there seems to be a lot of confusion. My ancestor was Mary's sister Abiah. YOur Mary may have had a twin, Joshua, but he only appears in some genealogies but not others. Maybe he died young? Anyway, check the Scituate Historical Society link, it has good info. I used to have some stuff on George Lewis's parents, but since my computer crashed I haven't found everything again. I'll let you know what I turn up.
