Lokrig Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Tina. I do believe you about your computer. Shortly after I started searching these sites, my own quit on me. I lost a lead on my McIntosh side and haven't been able to pick it up again. I was just checking my E-mail because just last night I sent a message out for the McIntosh family. You can't guess how pleased I was to find your response. I have some pictures of the Loughridge family. Just this week I was looking through some old photos and found some more. Last fall I went graveyard searching. I found where John and Catharine are buried. The stone is very old and hard to read. My sisters daughter was with me. She leaned on a tombstone and it almost fell over. We took a closer look at the stone. It turned out to be the above mentioned one. I have a really nice picture of Uncle Hugh Lyle and aunt Olive. Really they are my greataunt and uncle. I would love to hear more about your side. You mentioned about comming here this summer. I would be pleased to show you around Morewood. Apparently the Loughridges settled in Canamore first. I tried looking around there for a lead. I will have to check records for any information, it is only made up of a couple of houses and a small amusement area. I don't have anything dug out about the Loughridges because I wasn't expecting a reply. I just wanted to let you know I got your message. Do you know where the family first came from? I can send you my E-mail address if you are interested. Hope to hear from you soon.
