Hi my name is Lorna. I am the granddaughter of Sarah Ann Loughridge. My grandmother was Hugh Lyle Loughridges' sister. My grandmother died many years ago when I was only 2and a half years old. I remember uncle Lyle and his wife aunt Olive comming to our farm to visit us. Sarah married my grandfather Bruce McIntosh. He is directly decended from John McIntosh discoverer of the McIntosh apple. The Loughridges you are looking for lived in Morewood,Ontario. When I was a little girl my mother and father visited the Loughridge homestead on a regular basis. It is about a quarter of a mile west of Morewood. Please reply. I have much more information about the family. Recently my niece and I went on a graveyard search for this family. We found some very old tombstones which we could hardly read. I live only ten minutes from Morewood. I also have lost contact with the Loughridge family. My grandmothers niece Mary Mattice is still living in Morewood. She is a very oly lady. Hope I can be of help to you in the future.
