Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I want you to know that I have a Matilda in my family but she is not your Matilda. Aunt Tillie and her sisters Sabine, Elise were (lovingly) old maids. They lived with their brother in one house. So if you write to Mary Schult and mention a Mathilda Lohman, you will probably hear about my Aunt Tillie.
