I am trying to find info on a James Calvin Logsdon (or Logston) who was hung in 1871 at age 22 for the axe murders of two women and a child in Fentress County, TN. One account said he pled guilty to the murders, but another account said his hanging was followed by a flood he prophisied as a sign of his innocence. One account said he fled to his father's home in Hustonville, KY and another account said he fled to his home on the Green River, KY. I am sorry to ask you to admit a family tie to this Logsdon, but my father's family may be related, and I am trying to find this man in anyone's family tree.I would appreciate any info. Thank you--Nancy
