I'm very interested in the early names of your Loggins.
My g/g/g/grandfather was Charles Loggins (half Choctaw) born about 1822 in GA, then taken to Choctaw county, MS. His mother (full-blood) Amy Ammons (Ammonds, Hammons, Hammonds) was also born in GA (year unknown), taken with her son(s) to MS.
Your grandfather Andrew Loggins has the same name as one of Charles' brothers--Andrew Loggins born about 1825! The Andrew Loggins in my maternal line had a (grand) son, nephew with the same name. Charles Loggins had a daughter Margaret Loggins (MCR#5353) born abt 1857 (my g/g/grandmother) who married a (Horace) Taylor.
Your grandfather Andrew Loggins, you said, was born around/before 1900 in Webster county, MS. Do you know if he was related to any TAYLORS from the area for instance, Sumner? I have some TAYLOR relations that were at the time from around the Europa area.
Sabrina what was the name of your great-grandfather, who was half-Choctaw? was he the one whose name was Bob/Robert?
If it is Bob Loggins, I think I found his name on the Dawes Final Roll, MCR#4665. Also listed under this number:
Henney Lawson; Miles, Jenny, Walter, Victor, Ed, Lillie Belle, Lawson, and Lloyd Loggins.
Please let me know what you think about this information.
