According to records, there were about 600 people living in the Pittsburgh area in 1797. One well known Logan group was Chief John Logan who's sister was married to Col John Gibson the commander of Ft Pitt.

I find it interesting that you have a John Logan married to a Louise Gibson. Although I know this is not Chief John Logan because he was I believe married to a Susan Seeds or See.
