James P. Logan born June 18,1830, in Sharpsburg, Kentucky. Died January 8, 1916 in Thorntown, Indiana. His daughter Nancy E. Logan married Asa Lambert, my great grandfather. I have a picture of James P. Logan with a medal pinned to his shirt, I think it is a GAR medal, would like to know for sure. Thanks for any help you can be!!
