Hello, how nice to find another cousin!I have been researching this line for about 15 years, long before I got a computer and got online. The Drury Logan family has always been interesting to me, but sadly much of my early research is not as well documented as to the source as I now prefer.I now try to document every new fact that I find and label each one as I verify, since I am now going back to verify information as I get time.I have quite a lot on Drury's family that I would be quite happy to share, and have found that I want to know all the information that other researchers have on their lines to help complete the picture! My descendant from Drury and Mary Addington Logan is their daughter Sarah Isabelle Logan who married my Benjamin Beach. The reason I really think there is some connection with Major Francis Logan is that when Benjamin and Sarah moved to White County from Union County, they bought land adjacent to the land that is the old site of the Logan Turnpike off Hwy 129, and later sold (gave?)some land to a Fanny Logan.I would like to know more about who Fanny Logan is, and anything anyone can share with me about these Logans.I will send you a report showing much of my information attached to an e-mail, and would really appreciate if you would share the information that you have.I think that If I can gather enough information about the various Logan lines I will eventually start to put together some leads on the pre-1830 Logan history.I have already heard from some other researchers last fall who have come to the same conclusion and am now finished with a project that was taking my time from this line of research, and will be corresponding with them again.I saw in another post that you have a tintype of your William R. Logan, I would love to see that as well. The oldest family photo I have come up with on this line is one of "Grandpa Jim" and his family, who was the son of Benjamin and Sarah Logan Beach.I hope to hear from you soon, and will also e-mail you.
Thanks,
Donna Smith
