I am also trying to determine where my second greatgrandfather, Robert J Flinn came from. His name was spelled Flinn, yet my grandfather spelled his Flynn, saying this was the correct old family name. Robert was married to Matilda. I do not know her last name. His Son was John as was my grandfathers. I have located all their grave sites. They settled in Alabama. Do you have information on members of the family coming over to America earlier? What is strange is my Grandmothers name on the other side of my family is Loftus. I was looking for information on her when I saw your note. She was Agnes Loftus borne in 1873. I do not know where but she is buried in Alabama also. She married Jo Cephus Vines. Mrs Phillip Dell
