My wifes Father (Frank, son of Alice Loftus) was brought up by his uncle Nick with cousins May and Harry. From your information, I think we are talking about the same family. My wifes father moved to the midlands in 1937 but never forgot his Lancashire roots and visited Darwen regulary. It would be nice if we could provide each other with information.
