I had my brother's dna tested for both paternal and maternal information. I used ancestry.com to test for 46 markers [http://dna.ancestry.com/buyKitGoals.aspx]. However, family tree [http://www.familytreedna.com/] also provides for tests and their results can be uploaded onto a site called Ysearch [www.ysearch.org].
I have my brother's dna results on that site as well.
If you can trace back to Job you may be the link I have been looking for over the last decade. It is not necessarily cheap, but it does provide more documentation of line connection and verification than the very oldest census records.
