I am looking for information on a Jack and Polly Loflin -Polly was born about 1835 they also lived in Amite County.
It is said that Scott's father was very light skinned or white, they lived next door to a Robert and Besty Veal, robert disappears and Scott first married Besty, 21 years his senior. It is said that Scott had been shot in the jaw. Photo also shows this. 1890 csusu, shows that Scott was no longer with Besty and that he had been married to Phyliis (1892) who never had kids. Frances Stafford who had married Thornton Seaberry about 1882 had a baby girl, in 1895 by Scott Ronan(my grandnother Phyllis)
1900 thornton and frances Stafford Seabery had 12 kids/10 living at this time. There is also a child with the name of Thornton SEaberry three years apart from Phyllis/ his sister. please contact me at lumpkinoutlaw@yahoo.com
