Loflin Family Genealogy Forum
Llewellyn D. Rinald,
Thanks for your message. We are speaking of the very same lady. I have a picture of Eliza Jane and will be more than willing to share all of the infor that I have. I believe that I also have a picture of one of her sisters. We have been in Okla. for 8 days due to a death in my husband's family. We returned home last night, and he will be leaving this morning for the Beaumont area. I expect to keep a couple of grandchildren next week while they are off for spring break. My life has been quiet a jumble for the last two years and I have been unable to get organized in my genealogy, but do hope that I can do so soon. My husband, Wayne, has acquired me a file cabinet and that should help. Eliza Jane is buried at Salem Cemetery, Jackson Parish, Louisiana. That is where the Loflins settled when they came into Louisiana. On the 3rd Saturday of each October the family returns there for a family reunion. This began about 1917, and I have a picture of the first Loflin reunion. Henry and Eliza Jane are both in the picture. Looking forward to hearing from you.
