Getting started with the Loflins

Hi, I have just started looking into my family history and i thought i would start with your form. My father is from High Point NC. Most of them still live there. My grandfather was Joseph Clinard Loflin he moved to Winston-Salem in the 50's and owned his a grocery store called J.C Loflin. My fathers name is Gene Clinard Loflin, born 1943. Well, Thats all I know so far. If anyone can get me started, I would appreciate it or could tell me a good place to start.
