Clara Elizabeth Miller was born 11-26-1873 and died 12-3-1960 in Grant Parish Louisiana. Birthplace unknown. She married Joe Ben Maxwell on 10-4-1894 in Rapides Parish Louisiana. He was born 1-3-1871 and died 7-19-1942 in Grant Parish Louisiana, birthplace unknown. I also have Clara as having been married to an Edmond Scott on 4-10-1890 in Rapides Parish. I do not have definite proof that it is the same Clara, but would almost naturally assume so, given the dates and place, and the complete lack of any other Clara E. Miller's anywhere!!!
I do not have absolutly anything on either of these folks parents or siblings- but their kids were:
George, Rudolph, Willis, Webster, Rufus, and Alva Alice.
Alva Alice married Charles D. Mayo. They were my grandparents on my father's side.
The Loflin's tie in through the Bandy's on my mother's side. She died 11-6-2001, and it was her lifelong hobby/interest in this- I am bound and determined to try to put it together yet for her, even though she's not here anymore to see the finished product, I know she knows that I am trying!
