Loehr/Lehr/Lahr VA and OH

Looking for Margaret Loehr/Lehr (pick a spelling) b 19 May 1772 in Shenandoah Co, VA who married John Carter (b 7 Jun 1769 also in Shenandoah Co, VA) on 25 Dec 1796 in Shenandoah Co, VA. They supposedly had two children while in Shenandoah Co, VA Rebecca Burke Carter b 25 Jan 1797 and Nancy Carter 1 Sept 1798 then moved to Gallia County, OH and had 8 more children.

No parent or guardian seems to have signed their wedding bond and Carter is way to common in VA (although via DNA testing we do not belong to King Carter nor any other line that has done DNA testing to date) and even find the Loehr/Lehrs for a female at that time is proving very daunting.

Would appreociate any light shed upon this couple and their ancestors.

Thank you.
Norene
