I don't know your Iowa Loder family but I have some in Iowa too, so I explored your posting and found this information you may wish to explore.
There is a Wallace James Loder born 6/24/1912 in Jefferson twp of Henry County IA. His parents were Clark James & Estella Messer Loder. Clark J. b. 1878 was on the 1910 & 1920 census. I didn't view the entries. Clark J.'s parents could have been W. D. & Kate Loder on the 1880C.
This is at least a place to start. Try obits and old county history books in the library.
