Hi Sandra,

From what I have found, Andrew had 15 children. It is through his daughter Mary Jane that Douglas is descended. Mary Jane had 4 children. Her youngest was Doris who is almost 91 and she is Douglas' grandmother. It is interesting because Mary's mother died when Mary was about 1 and she was subsequently looked after by a family friend who was aunt of her future son-in-law ie Douglas' grandfather John Menzies. He grew up in the Uralla area and Doris grew up in the Kootingal area.
