My GGGGgm stole from John LOCKYER of Yeovil, Somerset

In 1842 my GGGGgm Elizabeth CROSS stole a gold ring and other articles from John LOCKYER from Yeovil, Somerset. She was convicted and transported to Van Deimans Land for 7 years. She married shortly after arrival and has many, many descendents in Australia, most of whom don't know about their shady beginnings! I am extraordinarily proud to have a convict ancestor so I will explore any avenue to flesh out her beginnings in Somerset.
While she was originally born in Wincanton, her last abode was Rimpton.
John LOCKYER is said to be from Yeovil. It is possible that Elizabeth was a servant to John LOCKYER, so she may feature on either the 1841 or 1851 census for Yeovil with him.
I would love to know any details about John LOCKYER of Yeovil, and particularly any links with my convict.
